Scholarship for German language course in Osnabruck
The University of Applied Sciencesin Osnabrück and Osnabrück City Council are awarding a scholarshipto one person from each of Osnabrück’s twin cities: Angers (France),Çanakkale (Turkey), Derby (UK), Haarlem (Netherlands), Twer (Russia),Hefei (China) and Vila Real (Portugal). The scholarship will enablethis person to attend the 17th International Summer Language Schoolrun by the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück.
The 17th International SummerLanguage School will take place from 17 August to 14 September 2009and comprises 90 hours of intensive German language training, offeredat all levels, and with the opportunity to focus on the areas of ‘generalGerman’, ‘business German’ or ‘technical German’.
The language course will beaccompanied by a wide programme of events: In the afternoons and atweekends there will be presentations, company tours, sports and socialevents, as well as excursions on offer. At the end of the course therewill be a four-day trip to Berlin and Potsdam. The course is aimed atstudents or those in employment, with or without previous knowledgeof the German language (from beginners to advanced). The scholarship will coverthe course fees as well as the costs for accommodation and health insurance.There is one scholarship available to each of the aforementioned twincities of Osnabrück. We look forward to receiving applications fromthose who would like to have the opportunity to improve their Germanskills, whether you are a student or if you are in employment. A basiccommand of the German language is not a prerequisite for the scholarship.Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
